The Granite Server also has a 4 channel HD graphics store, which accesses a

huge library that holds thousands of graphics. Two channels are named CG,

as they typically hold tles, crawls and rolls created on the built-in CG. Two

are labeled slls, and typically hold slls and logos imported into the system,

although all four stores can hold imported graphics. All four support keys

and a wide variety of le formats including .tga, .bmp, .gif, .jpg, .f, and .png.

As with the Fluent Clip Store, the names of the graphics show on the panel’s

PixBuons and the names, aributes and thumbnails show on the mul-view.

Fluent Watch-Folders streamline the import of graphics from your favorite

graphics system.

In addion to playing animaons in the Fluent Clip Store, there is also a dedi-

cated Fluent Animaon Store, with up to 2 channels, one of which can have

audio. One channel can hold HD animaons with key of up to 800MB com-

pressed (.tga) or 100 frames uncompressed(.tga, .bmp, .png), and the other

channel holds sll graphics, or both channels may be used for animaons

of up to 400MB/50 frames each. It is a great place to hold animated back-

grounds, logos or transions. Animaons are played from a folder of image

sequences (.tga, .bmp or .png) created on the built-in Inscriber CG or on any

popular system including Adobe AerEects, Artbeats, Apple, Digital Juice,

Avid, Moon, etc., and are easily moved into the Granite system using Fluent

Watch-Folders. Operators can then access animaons with the PixPads on

the panel and mul-view.

Every Granite Server includes an Harris Inscriber CG

which creates stunning graphics, and is very easy to use.

It has never been so easy to add great graphics to your

producons. The CG includes templates that make

novices look like pros. Just select one from the drop

down menu, type in your text and save. Or create your

own templates with Inscriber’s powerful composion

tools, or import elements from Photoshop or another

system.

Intuive

GS is a recent model from Harris Inscriber which follows

the latest convenons for creang graphics, such as for

grouping, aligning, bolding, etc. So you can be

customizing your own look in minutes.

On-Air Updates

While a producon is on-air you can right click an

exisng graphic to edit it on the y, or add new ones via

Fluent Watch-Folders. Great for a surprise guest tle.

Internaonal

The GS CG is Unicode based, so it can handle worldwide

languages including Asian characters.

Rapid CG

The Fluent Rapid CG opon (#172) streamlines the creaon of CG graphics. From easy,

quick and safe template lling, to automaon of CG creaon from databases and RSS

feeds. You can drag and drop a database into

Rapid CG, link it to a graphics template, and

then whenever you click on an element in

the database all of its data will update on air.

For example, in a sports producon, click on

a player and their name, photo and stascs

appear. Create custom acon buons to in-

crement graphics, like scores. Add clocks and
